Seed Sowing Medium
Originally formulated by Dr. Daniel Hill for the in vitro propagation of orchids, the Hill’s Orchid Media are among the best available in the world today. The Hill’s Orchid Culture Medium (seed sowing) is the first stage of a two stage process and is designed for the germination of orchid seed. It works well for a wide variety of orchids and comes as a dehydrated powder which is prepared by mixing with water. (No adjustment of pH is necessary. Makes ten liters of medium.)

Replating Medium
Originally formulated by Dr. Daniel Hill for the in vitro propagation of orchids, the Hill’s Orchid Media are among the best available in the world today. The Hill’s Replating Medium is the second (final) stage of a two stage process and is designed for root development and shoot growth. It can produce fast growing strong plants that continue to grow well when deflasked. It works well for a wide variety of orchids and comes as a dehydrated powder which is prepared by mixing with water. (No adjustment of pH is necessary. Makes ten liters of medium.)
Laboratory Services
Lab services include seed germination and replating of all orchid genera, meristem cloning of Cymbidium, Cattleya and Oncidiniae orchids, and treatment for ploidy change.
